On arrival in Chan May port, disembark and meet your guide. You will have immersed yourself in Central Vietnam’s Cham history and see a beach visited by US soldiers during the Vietnam War. En route to Da Nang, rich in ornate temples and colonial architecture, pass through Central Vietnam’s picturesque countryside of fertile rice paddies and grazing water buffalo. Visit for photos the sacred Linh Ung Pagoda, which harmoniously blends modern and traditional Vietnamese architecture. You will also stop at the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture for a short visit, where fascinating sandstone sculptures and temple ornamentations date as far back as the 4th century. Dedicated to Vietnam’s indigenous Cham people and their Indian heritage, the exhibits and ornate exterior are crafted with objects of worship, including idols and holy animals that represent the Hindu faith. You will travel to My Khe, known by the US soldiers who sought relaxation here as My Khe Beach. Considered to be Vietnam’s most picturesque beach, enjoy a stop for photos on the shore before returning to your ship. Duration is 5 hours.

On arrival in Chan May port, disembark and meet your guide. Then drive for 1 hour 30 minutes to Hue along a scenic coastal route passing mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. Upon arrival in Hue, stroll through the Imperial Citadel, once the exclusive residence of the royal family and its entourage. From there, continue to Thien Mu pagoda, Hue’s best-preserved religious monument. Standing on the riverbank with its 7-storey tower, the pagoda is a sight to behold. Continue to drive to Tu Duc tomb which is considered as one of the most beautiful and picturesque and largest works of architecture of Nguyen Dynasty’s royal palaces and tombs. Visit the nearby village where local people make the poetic colonial hat and incense. Drive back to the port to embark on the ship. Duration is 7 hours

On arrival to Chan May port, disembark the ship and meet your guide. Transfer about 2 hours to Hoi An Ancient town. Between the 17th and 19th centuries, Hoi An was a prosperous trading port. Today, this World Heritage-listed ancient town boasts well-preserved buildings, pedestrianized streets and unique cuisine, allowing visitors a glimpse of its illustrious past. The narrow lanes are ideal for a guided walking tour. There is plenty to visit including the old merchant’s houses with influences from Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture; the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge; the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation with outstanding wood carvings; and the colorful market with stalls brimming with local specialties including silk, which can be turned into fashionable garments within a day or two. End of your trip by visiting the lantern making workshops. After lunch, transfer back to Chan May port to embark the ship. Duration is 7.5-8 hours

On arrival to Chan May port, disembark and meet your guide. Drive to Ba Na Hills. High up in the hills, a bridge is causing quite a stir! Take in panoramic views of Da Nang from the impressive Golden Bridge and take a cable car – one of the longest in the world – over the lush Ba Na Forest. The Golden Bridge seems to float above the clouds suspended by a pair of giant stone hands. This novel piece of architecture is part of a magical French-themed kingdom containing an old village, a fantastical fun park, surreal sculptures, ornate gardens with temples and labyrinths. A cable car will whisk us to the top passing over ancient rainforests, waterfalls and rolling hills. Then we get to experience the weird and wacky world of Ba Na Hills! Drive back to port. Duration is 7 hours.
